'Dulahi' goes on screen in valley

A new Nepali feature film 'Dulahi' produced by the youngest ever producer Harsita KC under the banner production of ORC Films went on screen in the capital from Friday.

According to the sources, the film revolves around the story of director Baburam Dhakal himself, which reflects a typical Nepalese life. The cast are Rajesh Hamal, Karishma Manandhar, Mukesh Dhakal, Sumina Ghimire, Surbir Pandit, Saroj KC, Ravi Giri among others.

The film had, however, to stay put in the queue for around six months before finally going on screen.

A rising musician Ashta Lama has offered music to the film which was made at the cost of Rs 6 million, it is learned.

Singers Udit Narayan Jha, Sadhana Sargam, Jabed Ali, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sanjibani, Manjira, and Ram Bahadur Bade have given voice to the lyrics by Baburam Dhakal, and Dayaram Dahal.
